Hello I’m Roberta Louise
My own 15 year Pilates journey, becoming stronger, leaner and pain-free from long-term back (herniated disc) pain, healing a broken rib and fractured foot motivated me to heal myself and heal others and transition to a second career as a Pilates instructor, after an MBA and decades as a technology executive in the corporate world.
I have thousands of hours of private and group personal practice focused on Balanced Body methods at renowned studios in New York, San Francisco, San Diego, Marseille (France) and beyond. I’ve successfully trained aging students with osteoporosis, knee, hip, mobility, core and balance challenges.
I continue my own personal practice with mentors in Marseille, as I transition my certification to France. I am most passionate about teaching one to one Private Pilates and helping all levels, from superfit to out of shape and beginners and active agers look and feel better and regain flexibility, balance, strength and confidence.
As we age, not everyone strives to be super fit or enjoys (or can do) the same type of exercise as we did when younger, but I have seen how quality of life is greatly improved with Pilates movement. I also swim, cycle, walk, enjoy restorative yoga, speaking French and do some technology consulting.
